Accounts Assistant

**What we're looking for**:
We’re looking for an individual with excellent attention to detail to record data accurately and in a timely manner. You’ll need to be able to plan, organise, prioritise and make effective use of your time and resources, as you’ll be performing reconciliations, as well as investigating and resolving any differences or issues that arise.
You’ll need to be a team player as there may be times where you’ll be assisting and providing cover for Accounts Payable. There’ll be times where you will be answering telephone calls and taking credit card payments, so you’ll need to be passionate about providing excellent customer service and have excellent communication skills.
**Some of the things you'll get up to**:
- Finance Agreements - setting up, renewing and amending Direct Debit agreements with Third Party Finance providers
- Fielding queries from internal Broking departments
- Processing refunds to clients in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensuring completion of finance documentation and credit control responsibilities
**We'd like you to have**:
- Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage
- A good level of English, both written and oral
- Excellent numeric skills
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring that high standards of accuracy are consistently maintained
- Ability to work within a team environment and to co-operate with team members thereby building effective working relationships
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn new systems and processes as required
- Willingness to learn, develop and adapt to new ideas and circumstances
- Drive and self-determination with the ability to find and implement solutions to problems
- Ability to plan and organise, prioritise, making effective use of time and resources
