**We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our dynamic marketing team based in Leeds city centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in showcasing our student and professional properties across seven cities. We’re looking for a self-starter to be the sole lead on video production for our company. **Job title: Videographer**

**Location: Leeds**

**Terms: Full-time, Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm**

**Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 dependant on experience**

**The Role**
- Content Creation: Take ownership of all video content production for the company, including conceptualisation, storyboarding, shooting, and editing. Create visually compelling videos that effectively promote our student and professional properties, catering specifically to our target audience of students. This includes showflat promotional videos, flat promotional videos, presenter flat tours, event videos, lifestyle content and brand videos.
- Video Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video marketing strategies and campaigns. Ensure that videos align with the overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
- Production Management: With the support of the wider marketing team, coordinate all aspects of video production, including organising and managing shoot schedules, locations, equipment including organising lighting and other shoot equipment, and talent.
- Time management: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, to a high standard and within budget
- Directing: Leading on production sets, taking an active role in directing productions and shoots to make sure content captured is the best quality. Managing people on set and having the ability to build a rapport with residents and staff members.
- Post-Production: Edit and enhance raw footage to create polished and professional videos. Add appropriate graphics, animations, and sound effects as needed. Maintain a high standard of quality and ensure consistency across all video content.
- Optimisation and Distribution: Optimise videos for various platforms and formats, ensuring maximum reach and engagement. This will include but is not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, website and TV screens. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the marketing team to align video content with other marketing initiatives and campaigns. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance our overall marketing strategy.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and expertise will also be considered.
- Proven experience in videography, preferably with a focus on promotional or marketing videos.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of cinematography techniques, composition, lighting, and sound design.
- Excellent storytelling abilities and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.
- Knowledge of video optimisation for various platforms, including social media.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
