We are looking to recruit 2 Junior Activity Motivators. This role will ensure the safety and well-being of junior users when attending sessions and activities within the company’s sports and leisure facilities, including visits and participation within the company’s Wreck Room and other facilities suitable for junior use.

Main duties will include:

- Set up and clear down various sporting and non-sporting activities for junior participation, ensuring the safe handling, storage and maintenance of all equipment involved. This could include activity mats, soft play equipment, nets, portable electrical equipment, etc.
- Assist customers with their use of the venues and activities, always ensuring customer safety. Working with parents and guardians to encourage positive junior participation and enjoyment.
- The post holder must maintain a thorough understanding of all health and safety and safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Motivation and support for individual junior customers, organised delivery groups and school sessions, enabling participants to achieve their activity goals and to have a meaningful interaction.

The successful applicant will have:

- Experience gained within a sport, leisure and/or entertainment sector.
- A good understanding of the benefits sport and leisure can have on people’s health improvement and general well-being.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to work flexibly including evening, weekend and bank holiday requirements to meet the needs of the business which operates 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year.

There may be the requirement to provide cover at alternative sites

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 17 per week

**Salary**: £10.56 per hour
