Economic Support Specialist needed in Totnes £16.60 ph ref 5220442

Full time hours on a temporary basis.

This role will involve:

- The Placemaking team are looking for a Project Support Officer to work closely with our towns, wards and parishes, helping them to set out their economic ambitions and developing a roadmap to achieve these goals. This position will be integral to supporting the delivery of key corporate priorities though the Corporate Strategy, particularly within the Thriving Economies theme.
- As a Project Support Officer you will have knowledge of working within and supporting a fast-moving team to ensure that objectives are delivered to time, budget, and agreed quality standards. Alongside this, your ability to identify, build and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships will be critical for ensuring the successful delivery of the team’s objectives.
- You will keep Project Managers, Councillors and partner organisations aware of project status by communicating effectively, writing accurate reports and having a proactive approach to work. You will be committed to delivering high quality outputs whilst ensuring excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
