**Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers
Grimsby**

**Monday-Friday Earlies & Lates + 1 in 3 Weekends**

**£43,500 + Overtime**

**Our client is a leading food manufacturing company, the site is part of a larger global business. Due to growth and a recent expansion of the factory, they are looking for a number of multi-skilled shift engineers to join their expanding maintenanceteam.**

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all food processing & production machinery
- Carry out PPM's, reactive maintenance & root cause analysis
- Working on conveyors, high-speed food production, processing & packaging lines, washers, labellers, multivacs, checkweighers, robotics, automated warehouse systems, vacuum packers
- PLC - electrical fault finding
- Improve plant reliability & production line efficiencies
- Use of a digital PPM system and stores management
- Carry out projects - continuous improvements, line modifications, machinery upgrades
- Work closely with production teams

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Ideally multi-skilled engineers - will consider either electrical or mechanical biased
- Previously have worked in a similar food / FMCG manufacturing environment
- Comfortable with working in refrigerated and sometime wet conditions
- Have completed a time-served recognised apprenticeship
- Minimum BTEC Level 3 engineering qualified
- Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & diagnostics skills
- Able to use digital PPM and stores management systems
- Effective communicator - able to work with engineers & production staff
- IOSH trained would be great
- Must understand health & safety, food hygiene and safety procedures & processes
- Ideally have experience of working on food processing, production & packaging machinery
- PLC - electrical fault finding skills
- Previously have completed small amounts of project work
