**HR Advisor | 12 months FTC | East Anglia | £33k £40k | Mainly home based**

Macildowie are working with a national education organisation to appoint an experienced and hard working HR Advisor to join their fast-paced team on a 12 months FTC.

You will be covering the schools in the East Anglia region, so there will be the occasional visit on site when required, otherwise the role will be based at home.

Key Duties Include:

- Provides first line advice and guidance to staff on a wide range of people matters, including: disciplinary, grievances, absence management, maternity, redundancy and payroll queries
- Promotes effective recruitment and selection practices and eligibility to work include DBS and Right to Work checks
- Support the HR team in providing advice on staffing structures, change programmes, restructures and redundancies
- Supports managers to resolves pay queries
- Provides advice on the maintenance of Single Central Records (SCR) and personal files
- Collates data and supports the preparation of HR reports as required
- Collates information for national reports

Experience in the education industry is essential with knowledge of Burgundy and Green Books.
