**Description**:
**As the Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing strong relationships with new, existing, or future supporters. You'll do this by raising awareness through compelling resources and engaging content that tell our story, and by collaborating with others on initiatives that positively impact people experiencing homelessness.**

Our ambition is to end homelessness in Cornwall, and key to our success will be our ability to continue connecting with people and inspiring them to take action - whether through giving financially, volunteering, fundraising for us, or taking part in other events and activities. By building meaningful relationships with others and engaging them in our work, you will ensure St Petrocs can continue to grow and develop its services in response to the increasing number of people being pushed into homelessness.

Many of our staff work flexibly, including part-time. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need. We can’t promise to give you exactly what you want, but we do promise not to judge you for asking.

- Establish and nurture relationships with supporters to ensure a positive and effective engagement.
- Produce engaging written acknowledgments for supporters.
- Maintain accurate records of partnerships, donations, and engagement activities using CRM software.
- Support the engagement and building of relationships with the St Petrocs Business Club.
- Contribute new ideas and continually seek to improve processes to drive efficiency and improve supporter experience.
- Attend events as a positive ambassador for St Petrocs, promoting and raising awareness of its services and inspiring existing and potential supporters, working evenings and weekends as required.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested.

You’ll need to be a strong communicator - both verbally and written - and able to accurately express your ideas in these mediums.

Some occasional evening and weekend working will be required, but we operate a time off in lieu policy.

**Essential Criteria**
- Commitment to our services and the people we serve
- Able to follow processes and maintain high standards
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to balance a varied workload
