**With continuing rapid growth of the business, Vanilla Underground is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to our small and agile Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in many aspects of the business in a very varied role working closely with qualified accountants and the owner/Directors.**

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- **Supporting the Directors and Head of Finance**:

- **Purchase Ledger accounting and payment runs, analysis and control of costs**:

- **Maintenance of HR and payroll records**:

- **Ad hoc business administration, e.g. purchasing of office and warehouse supplies**:

- **Working closely with colleagues, including other departments, to support various projects and deliver quality business information to the business.**
- **At least one year of experience in a similar role**:

- **Qualified by experience, a related Degree, or actively studying to become an Accountant (AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or Bookkeeper**:

- **You’ll be able to demonstrate good Excel skills (e.g. vlookup, sumif)**:

- **Previous experience of using Xero or other cloud-based accounting software is an advantage**:

- **You’ll be very organised, have superb attention to detail and an ability to communicate financial and other information in an understandable format.**

**We offer**:

- **Salary of £24,000 to £28,000 per year, depending on skills and experience**:

- **21-26 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing with length of service**:

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
