**About the Team**
Future Studios is one of the world’s leading producers of short-form factual and social content, creating and distributing digital content for huge global audiences, brands, clients and platforms. As well as producing content for its original documentary channel, Truly, it creates video for all of Future’s huge portfolio of market-leading brands.
**Job Purpose**
Working in an evolving and ambitious company, the Post Production Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Post Production to administer Post Production resources and maintain workflows. Main responsibilities include managing internal edits, kit and the Post Production Assistants to ensure the correct, constant and safe distribution of content and resources to and from internal and external Production teams. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will need experience of working in a fast-paced digital production environment, able to juggle multiple tasks and projects and must be highly organised, with excellent communication and attention to detail.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Internal Productions**
- Managing in-house Post Production resources, including edit stations and camera kit.
- Distributing work amongst the Post Production Assistants.
- Controlling team access to content on our internal editing systems.
- Orchestrating smooth data movement through the workflow, from ingest through to archive.
- Working closely with our Publishing team to deliver content to external platforms and third parties.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with content, systems and edits.
- Managing access to online software accounts (Vimeo, WeTransfer, Trint etc.).
- Organising training for staff, when required.
- Reviewing, improving and documenting working practices.
**External Productions**
- Preparing cameras, wrangling kits and DIT logs for shoots.
- Working closely with PMs, Post Houses and Broadcasters:
- Reviewing tech specs
- Checking and validating quotes
- Delivering rushes to edits
- Ensuring all data is backed up safely and securely in more than one location.
- Organising any frame rate and standards conversions.
- Helping teams to manage Archive content.
- Uploading cuts to Vimeo and sharing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Working with third party vendors to manage transcriptions and graphics.
- Overseeing delivery of final assets to Broadcasters / Platforms.
**Requirements**:
- A good knowledge of, and interest in, video Post Production workflows and techniques.
- Be technically competent with solid experience using the Adobe CC Suite.
- Be well organized and approachable, with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects concurrently, able prioritise tasks and delegate them amongst a team.
- Good problem solving capabilities with the confidence to suggest improvements to current processes and workflows.
- Thorough, reliable and process driven
- ensuring that our content remains backed up and safely archived.
- IT literate, with experience using Post Production systems and Google Suite.
- Knowledge of professional broadcast camera kit is an advantage.
