**About the role**:
Horsham District Council are looking for a Community Services Officer (Health) to join the Community Services team and work in collaboration with a range of partnership organisations throughout the district to develop appropriate localised interventions to improve access to services positively impacting on residents’ health. Access to health services can take many forms and Horsham District is proud of the part it plays in helping residents to lead healthy lives.

As Community Services Officer (Health) you will act as the Councils primary contact for community groups to establish and implement health related initiatives at a local level that improve services and access to them. You will always work on a regional basis with colleagues across the County to share learning and implement good practise. You will champion our Local Community Network and support focused subgroups working of key focus areas to identify and achieve tangible outcomes.

To succeed as Community Services Officer (Health) you will have good analytical and problem-solving skills, and a track record of working in partnership with multiple stakeholders to achieve shared goals. You will have experience in dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds, a high standard of written English and a competent IT user. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as on own your initiative.
