The Priory Hospital Southampton is part of the Priory group offering NHS funded inpatient care. The hospital is located in Marchwood on the outskirts of Southampton and comprises 44 inpatient beds across three wards. All three of our wards are rated as ‘Good’ with the Care Quality Commission. Sandpiper Ward: This is a mixed gender adult acute ward comprising 18 NHS Funded beds. Starling Ward: This is a mixed gender adult acute ward comprising 13 NHS Funded beds. Skylark Ward: 13 bedded specialist mixed gender adult eating disorders Unit. Skylark ward is QED accredited. The Hospital has well established multidisciplinary teams in all wards including nursing, therapy, occupational therapy and psychology input. The non-consultant doctors in the hospital include three full-time specialty doctors and one full-time resident Medical Officer, who is based on-site.

We have an exciting opportunity for an admissions officer to join our well-established admin team at Priory Hospital Southampton. Processing all patient related paperwork and administration you will be comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be an excellent communicator building great working relationships with managers and colleagues to ensure a smooth admission process for our patients. Attention to detail is essential in this role and we are looking for someone who can communicate confidently and has excellent organisation skills demonstrating the Priory values in their day-to-day work.
