Our Client is a market leader in the provision of INTERNATIONAL and DOMESTIC PARCEL solutions to both businesses and home addresses.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an INTERNATIONAL PARCEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER based remotely but covering a National remit. You will be responsible for working with all domestic clients generating and closing opportunities for INTERNATIONAL PARCELS, PACKETSand MAIL volume. You will be a Cross border and sales specialist within the INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS PARCELS function of our clients business, working closely with the client development team to enhance product knowledge, create a substantial pipeline and increaseshare of wallet throughout the client base.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and confidently perform presentations
An excellent understanding of the INTERNATIONAL COURIER and EXPRESS PARCELS market and all matters relating to international trade
Proven sales ability to achieve and exceed personal sales plans and targets
Willingness to learn and enhance knowledge of products, services and international trade
Excellent time management skills to maximise the ability to reach goals
Effective upsell and cross selling skills
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
Effective collaboration and relationship building skills
Resilience, self-motivation and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
Good record keeping and adherence to policies and procedures
Problem solving and effective decision-making
Skills and experience required
Highly experienced INTERNATIONAL PARCELS and PACKETS selling/account management background is essential.
Knowledge of selling to the B2C sector.
Proven track record of selling Internationally / Cross Border solutions
An excellent level of insight into the market and customer needs and the drivers of customer experience.
The ability to respond and work at pace on a variety of projects.
Outgoing, engaging and confident.
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
Technical Skills - Microsoft Office package.
Pro-active individual with the ability to self-manage.
Strong team player keen to work across departments and develop clear recommendations using multiple data sources.
Willing to question and critically evaluate current ways of working.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record influencing at board level.
Ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A credible, articulate individual who can both build and influence excellent cross functional relationships.
