Manufacturing Services (FLT) Team Leader

**Reports to**: Logistics Manager

**Location**: Ornua Foods UK, Sunnyhills Road, Leek, ST13 5SP

**Hours**: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm to 6:00am
Salary £30,000 - £36,000, depending on experience

Ornua is actively seeking a team leader to join our Manufacturing Services department to aid the efficient control of all Warehouse activities within specified Safety, Housekeeping and Hygiene standards.

**Why This Role Is Valuable**:
The team leader is responsible for leading on;
Managing all team members including recruitment, training and development, performance reviews, absence management, time and attendance, discipline and grievance.
Managing the FLT fleet to include operational compliance, repairs and training.
Managing all aspects of departmental safety including incident investigation reporting, Racking Safety checks, Good Catches and Safety Walks along with completion of follow up actions.
Ensuring intake and dispatch schedules are met with any problems being promptly escalated.
Ensuring any issues involving FLT Breakdowns, Stock problems or Product Quality are dealt with promptly
To ensure there is a sufficient stock of pallets available for Finished Goods dispatches and Non conformances are managed through RCA
To support the end of year site stock take process.

**What You Bring To The Role**:
Good verbal and written communication skills
To hold at least one current FLT license from a registered provider.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems with the ability to navigate around them independently.
Ability to motivate staff to achieve targets.
To be able to control Operational costs within budgeted levels.
To be able to manage all elements of Safety relating to FLT and Storage Operations.
Managing/Supervising Warehouse based teams for at least 2 years
