**Job Title**: FLT Driver (Direct Support)

**Reports to**: Manufacturing Services Team Leader

**Location**: Leek, Staffordshire, United Kingdom

**Hours**: Monday to Friday rotating shift of 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm

**Salary**: 11.65 per hour Grade B

Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Kerrygold, Avantage, Forto, and BEO. Markets are served by production facilities and in-market sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, and the US.

Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

**Role Description**:
To ensure the Production teams needs are fully supported through the safe and efficient control of Finished Goods and delivery of materials to where and when they are needed.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
To ensure lines are safely supplied with the correct Packaging at requested times.
To ensure unused Packaging is promptly returned to its correct storage location.
To ensure reels of film are fully covered at all times when in storage.
To make full use of lifting equipment when transporting Packaging to and from the lines.
To follow clean as you go standards in all areas to be audit ready.
To ensure lines are safely supplied with empty pallets.
To ensure safe removal of Finished Goods from production lines via FLT.
To ensure accurate receipt of Finished Goods pallets.
To safely operate the Pallet Wrapper.
To support in the make up of bins for the Off Cut process.
To process and rack away completed bins of Off Cuts via FLT.
To process and rack away completed bins of rejected stock via FLT.
To ensure rejected empty pallets are segregated and removed via FLT.
To support the removal of waste to the compactors.
To support any other appropriate FLT driving activity as required.

Other Duties

To be aware of and adhere to the Company Health and Safety regulations and encourage others to follow suit.
To undertake any other duties as required by the business.
To undertake any train i ng requirements needed to carry out the role effectively along with any other training relating to required duties.
To be aware of and adhere to all Company policies and procedures and encourage others to follow suit.
To undertake any other associated duties which may occasionally arise.

Key requirements

6 to 12 months in Warehouse operations.
Current FLT licence for Counter Balance and or Reach
from recognized training body.
