**Management Accountant**

At Reed Finance in Chester, I am working with a global manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent who require an ambitious finance individual, qualified or a finalist who is keen to progress within the finance career and gain available experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in all aspects of the finance department including weekly sales and month end reporting.
- Working closely with the Financial Controller and be able to provide cover in his absence.
- Margin reporting and analysis
- Preparing quarterly vat returns.
- Check submitted expenses in line with policy and prepare for approval.
- Assist in preparation of various account reconciliation including balance sheet reconciliations.
- HMRC returns, including VAT
- Fixed asset register management
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Stock analysis and reporting
- Provide timely and insightful reporting and management information as required.
- Fostering relationships with key senior managers
- Undertake project-based work for specific business strategies & initiatives.
- Excellent IT skills, proficient in excel (lookups, and data tables)
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritise and meet all deadlines.
