**Salary: Up to £35,000 (pro rata)**

**9.30am to 6.00pm, 30 hours - 4 days per week**

**Job Type: Part-time, permanent contract**

They deliver education and talent development programmes, commissionartists to make and present new work, and present exhibitions, talks and artist residencies.

**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Charity Finance Officer** to join their enthusiastic team. You will be responsible for the financial management, associated policies and contribute to the financial and business planning of the organisation.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Head of Finance/Finance Officer/ Finance Manager or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of charity regulations and company law.
- Experience of developing and delivering financial strategies.
- Understanding of the current finance issues relating to working in the finance department of a charity or a small business.
- Experience of devising and implementing new finance systems.
- Excellent ICT skills including experience of using software such as Excel, Microsoft Word, Googledocs and Quickbooks.

**Desirable**:

- Previous working experience in a similar role for an art charity
- Accounting qualification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with VAT as it applies to Charities.
- Familiarity with the Charity Statement of Recommended Practice “SORP” FRS 102.
