The Havens Hospices' People Team has a vacancy for a Recruitment Assistant.

**This role will be based between both of our Hospice sites**: Fair Havens in Prittlewell, and Little Havens in Thundersley.

It is a full time role, with core hours being 0900 - 1700, and is office-based (not working from home), although some degree of agile workingmaybe considered after the probationary period has been successfully completed.

At Havens Hospices, we care for children, young people and adults with complex or incurable conditions. Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.

- Being the main facilitator of the TRAC recruitment system for the People Team; monitoring all vacancies, whilst supporting the onboarding process from end-to-end. Charity’s Safer Recruitment Policy, and legislation.
- Updating and monitoring all recruitment-based information spreadsheets for all roles within the Charity, including any new starter and onboarding information.
- Ensuring that all employee personal files are set up correctly and appropriate onboarding data filed correctly.
- Supporting recruiting managers on the recruitment process and TRAC, to promote quick responses, good selection processes, and best practice, enabling them to become self-reliant.
- Ensuring that all necessary compliance checks, for example, DBS checks and references are completed and compliant with the charities safer recruitment polices and legislations.
- Aiding and ensuring all necessary documentation is supplied to managers as required for the recruitment process via TRAC or otherwise.
- Work with the People Team Recruitment Lead, to ensure all job descriptions are up to date and relevant for any roles being advertised.
- Sense check all new job adverts on TRAC, liaising with the People Team Recruitment Lead regarding agreed templates, wording, and format.
