Liaison Lead for Cannock Talking Therapies

The role provides a great deal of autonomy and you will be actively encouraged to network and promote links with a wide range of services.
**As part of the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust we offer**:
An annual salary of up to £47,672 (37.5 hours per week) depending on experience
35 - 41 days annual leave - including bank holidays (depending on length of service)

Good communication skills and an ability to work autonomously are vital to this role as you will be liaising between primary and secondary sectors to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of patients between TT services and Adult Community Mental Health Teams.

We have strong links with academic institutions with staff from the service teaching university courses devised in conjunction with MPFT.

Key Responsibilities
Make decisions on the suitability of new referrals, identifying the most suitable service for patients
Formulate, implement and evaluate individual therapy programmes for patients that fall between Primary and Secondary services
Attend Inter service meetings with regard to referrals
Liaise with other health and social care staff from a range of agencies with a regard to referrals
Promote and maintain links with services across the Trust to help co-ordinate provision of an effective Psychological Therapies Service
Provide specialist advice to other professionals from the Trust and voluntary agencies in regard to our therapeutic service provision
Contribute to the teaching and training of mental health professionals and other staff working in the service
