**Job Description**:
This is a key role supporting a sales team selling Taylor & Francis print and e-books to corporate and professional customers across the globe.

As the first point of contact for customers, you will coordinate responses and work closely with colleagues in a global sales team. You will manage a busy desk, supporting and delegating tasks to colleagues. Your responsibilities will include managing web codes, eBooks, and large print runs, as well as developing new products. Additionally, you will support the sales team with data feeds and collaborate with Editorial and Marketing to stimulate interest in our products among a wider range of customers and prospects. Working with internal teams, you will gain a strong understanding of our products and how our diverse customers work with content.

Being ‘you’ at Taylor and Francis:

- Ensuring that customers are engaged positively and promptly so that their needs are accurately qualified and progressed through the best workflow to meet their requirements
- Managing simple or complex print or e-book orders, fulfilling orders quickly and accurately - getting it right first time
- Accurately recording the status and value of orders so that both the team and external customers can be kept up to date with progress
- Working closely with the team to best develop the short, medium, and long-term potential of the customer
- Developing a great relationship with our distribution and warehouse teams to help improve efficiency and to introduce new processes where beneficial
- Working collaboratively with the sales and production teams, our authors, and external organizations to enable books products to be created according to customer specifications
- Running reports on revenue, account performance, sales pipeline, incoming leads, and conversion rates, so that these figures can be analysed by the team each month
- Creating marketing flyers, generating web codes, eBooks, and placing print order

Location: - Park Dr, Milton, Abingdon, UK **This role can be worked remotely from home, although you will be required to travel to our offices in Milton Park on a frequent basis as required.**

- Strong attention to detail and discipline in maintaining records on our sales systems
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- A proactive, self-motivated and results driven attitude and above all, a real team player
- Experience in academic, trade, or business/legal publishing would be beneficial but is not essential. Interest in publishing is critical

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for their first role within publishing, or for someone looking to develop their sales experience with a view to progressing to more senior sales roles.
