**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Title**:Graduate Recruitment Advisor

**Contract Length**: 12 Months

**Working Hours**: Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm (England), Monday - Friday. 9am - 5pm (Scotland) - Flexibility required.

**Main duties and responsibilities**

Working with the Graduate Recruitment Manager and wider Graduate Recruitment team, to implement the Early Talent attraction, engagement and recruitment strategy for Pinsent Masons.

Within the wider Early Talent team, the Graduate Recruitment (GR) pillar is comprised of the GR Manager (reporting to the Head of Early Talent), three GR Advisors (focusing on UK-wide attraction and recruitment), one International Graduate Recruitment & Development Advisor (focusing on locations outside of the UK), one GR Assistant and one Early Talent Systems Assistant. The other pillars of the team are1) Graduate Development (focusing on on-boarding, induction, training, development, seat planning, qualification and pastoral care for Trainee Solicitors in the UK and internationally;) and and 2) Apprenticeships (focusing on school stage programmes and school leaver Solicitor Apprentice and Business Operations apprenticeship recruitment and development).

**Specific responsibilities and duties include**:

- Being a brand ambassador for Pinsent Masons, working with the broader team to develop and deliver a calendar of recruitment events (both virtual and in person) and comms plans for social media and online tools such as Forage;
- Creation and use of appropriate templates to ensure comms and branded collateral is on message and brand;
- Working with legal sector publications and news sites to develop marketing content;
- Work with internal stakeholders such as the Social Media and PR teams to deliver timely content on the firm’s platforms and through media;
- Own and develop relationships with third party partners such as diversity organisations and branding agencies to ensure activity is delivered in a consistent, high quality and organised manner;
- Working with Graduate Recruitment Manager and Head of Early Talent on brand refresh project;
- Delivery of graduate attraction and engagement events such as presentations and workshops both virtually and in person;
- Delivery of the firms' in-office insight events in London;
- Liaison for law faculty and careers services contacts in connection with firm events, programmes and
- initiatives;
- Delivery of assessment centres for all early talent opportunities in the London office;
- Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders of the business to enable and facilitate the Graduate Recruitment attraction and recruitment strategy;
- Providing verbal feedback to applicants for the various early talent programmes both successful and unsuccessful; and

**Qualifications**

Educated to degree level standard and/or CIPD

**Key Skills**
- Proven project planning and management skills (management of projects from start to finish will be required);
- Recruitment experience;
- Experience of dealing with all levels of staff, including senior stakeholders, in a persuasive and credible manner;
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills;
- Solid understanding and experience of using social media in marketing, recruitment and selection;
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion challenges within early talent market, comfortable discussing and challenging in sensitive situations;
- Highly organised and skilled at prioritising, managing timelines and keeping stakeholders updated. Comfortable with mixed workload of annual cycle and project work;
- Knowledge of UK early talent market desirable;
