**Overall purpose**:The ASEL Risk and Intelligence Department has been established underneath the Operations Strategic pillar to service an increased demand across UK businesses for intelligence led risk-based solutions and shared services.

You will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on these services working with the Command and Intelligence Centre Manager and the Head of Keyholding, additionally you will be further supported by the Head of Account Development to achieve our strategic mission.

**Main duties / key responsibilities**:

- You will be accountable for the performance of all Roaming, Retail Park and Commercial Centre Security Officers and service delivery.
- You will lead, motivate, and empower your Security Officer teams delivering the highest industry standard services to ASEL Ltd customers and the wider communities we serve.
- You will lead a shared culture of continuous improvement and quality management, operating a leader / leader structure with your teams.
- You will lead by example, always delivering the highest personal and professional standards.
- Ensure all Security Officers complete their daily tasks and report any incidents effectively via the appropriate reporting software.
- You will ensure that all Security Officers have undergone the appropriate training for their role and are assessed against critical knowledge criteria at least bi-annually bridging knowledge gaps where necessary.
- Working with the Command and Intelligence Centre you will support an exception based targeted model across UK retailers, shopping centres, retail parks and Business Improvement District Areas.
- You will support the recruitment of new security officers conducting face to face interviews and supporting due diligence.
- Prepare ROI / performance reports / presentations when required.
- Attend customer meetings with ASEL Account Managers to determine service levels and identify strategies to improve.

Conduct KPI driven reporting to the Head of Risk and Intelligence based on agreed KPIs

**Working relationships**:
Internal: This role reports into the Head of Risk and Intelligence but will work collaboratively across all departments where required to implement effective roaming and dynamic deployment activities

External: Supplier & customer relationships will need be fostered and maintained to ensure best value, excellent communication channels and service delivery to be successful. Additionally, relationship with UK Police forces and strategic partners such as RAC, NBCS and Business Improvement Districts and Business Crime Partnerships will need to be established and maintained

**Education / Qualifications / Training required**:
Essential:

- A good standard of general education is required to fulfil the requirements of the role.
- Full UK car driving licence.

Desirable:

- Understanding of the wider retail security environment including BIDs and BCRPs etc

Leadership and management qualification or the willingness to undertake one

Desirable:

- At least 2 years’ experience of delivering all the following.
- Existing operational experience across multi retail accounts is essential.
- Excellent track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs.
- Previous experience in retail loss prevention.
- Previous experience conducting both internal and external investigations.

**Knowledge and experience**:
Essential:

- Good IT skills Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Experienced in the use of workforce management software.
- Experience of leading large teams.

Desirable:

- Proven ability of delivering tasks on time, to spec and on budget.
- A demonstrable ability to constantly improve systems, process’ and results.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and deal with potential issues appropriately and transparently.
