Resource Planner

**Main Purpose of the role**:
To optimise contract profitability through provision of required staff resources in accordance with requirements required by various clients.

**Reporting to**:
Resource Manager

**Key Relationships**:
Contracts Manager, Labour Resource planners, Projects Managers, Commercial Manager and clients.

**Hours of work**

As required by the relevant contract you have been engaged to provide services for with Cleshar

**Role and Responsibilities**

As a Resource Manager you will
- Maintain regular contact with client labour managers in connection with supply numbers recognising diverse and critical skill requirements.
- Liaise with Ashford Depot to coordinate resources for upcoming works
- Ensure internal jobs are resourced within the stipulated timeframes
- Attend client planning and review meetings as required.
- Provide visibility to the Labour Manager, Project Manager and Contracts Manager of emergent manning requirements and agree engagement and training strategies to satisfy all requirements.
- Within the support team, maintain current skills/training records and ensure all key skills are kept current.
- Ensure resources are planned into company systems
- Take responsibility for quality of supply and ensure that all necessary improvement actions are fully defined and implemented in conjunction with the Labour Manager.
- Support the Labour Manager in his customer support function through provision of manning supply data in line with external customer requirements and timeframes.
- Maintain strong connections with HSQE operations staff in support of all deployed track teams and where advanced planning is concerned.
- Carryout administrative and document control duties as required
- Supports Labour Manager in client matters as required
- Maintain good relations with Clients and their representatives at all times.
- Any other duties as requested by line manager

Data Processing
- Identify your portfolio/department GDPR Lead and receive a briefing on GDPR as it applies to your activities.
- Immediately report any suspected GDPR data breach to you portfolio/department GDPR Lead or Head of Human Resources (HR)
