Electronic Rostering System Support Administrator

**The main aspects of the role are as follows**:

- You will be expected to train groups of ward managers and departmental managers in a classroom environment, on how to use the Trust's electronic rostering system.
- You will be able to audit and evaluate the outcomes from the education you have delivered.
- You will support the Electronic Rostering Manager with the daily management of the Trust’s Electronic Rostering System.
- You will be responsible for inputting data into the E-Rostering system to include programming new units, setting up new starters, implementing contract variations, processing leavers and preparing information for the weekly and monthly payroll interface files.
- You will be able to present reports to senior colleagues.
- You will be able to manage and inform around complex queries from e-rostering users.
- You will liaise with internal and external agencies as the role requires and within the realms and confines of information governance.
- You will be required to access multiple IT systems, in order to perform your job efficiently and effectively. Such systems include ESR, EASY and the Trust's absence management system.
- You will support the Team with month-end payroll and lockdown processes, including dealing with any records which may have failed to load into ESR.
- You will be expected to use complex spreadsheets, in order to analyse data and to drive the data quality agenda.

You must be educated to degree level or be able to demonstrate the equivalent administrative experience to be shortlisted for this post. You must have a minimum 12 months experience of working in the NHS, to include working in an in-patient environment. You should be proficient in using IT packages and software such as Word, Excel, Power Point. You should be able to provide evidence of project delivery, training and education experience, record keeping and reporting. Ideally you would be familiar with the Electronic Rostering System, but training and support will be provided.
