**Finance Assistant | Nottingham** |**Temporary| £22,000**
Cherry Professional are working with an educational trust who are looking to recruit for a **Finance Assistant.**This role offers flexible working, full time hours on a temporary and permanent basis. Work for a team that wants to make a difference in young people’s lives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining the **Purchase** and **Sales Ledger** and ensuring that all documents are recorded correctly.
- Ensuring all supplier statements are reconciled and differences resolved.
- Matching delivery notes to invoices and filing.
- Ensuring Employee expenses are correctly recorded and posted.
- Resolving supplier issues before they become material problem.
- Monitoring and assessing **customer accounts** and **credit limits.**
- Cash input and allocation/reconciliation of Bank Statements.
- Chasing unpaid invoices and dealing with invoice/debit note queries.
- Working to monthly deadlines.
- Ad Hoc administration duties.
Skills and experience:

- Knowledge of**Purchase Ledger**, and general accounting procedures.
- Ability to interact on all personnel levels.
- Ability to work as a team but able to show initiative.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, work to tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
