Administrative Team Leader

30 hours per week. The Prosthetic Rehabilitation Service is based at the Thornberry Centre, Derriford, Plymouth, providing a rehabilitation service to amputees including clinical assessment, provision and maintenance of prostheses (artificial limbs) as well as rehabilitation and advice. The service provides care for the population of Plymouth, South and West Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Clinics are held at the Thornberry Centre and there is a satellite clinic at Camborne and Redruth Community Hospital once a week.

You will be an enthusiastic individual who is able to work as part of a team. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a flexible approach to working.

The role includes providing high quality support to the Prosthetic Team, service users and other team members. The post holder has line management responsibility of the service receptionist and jointly line manages the Prosthetic Assistants with a representative of the Clinical Team. The post holder will be required to lead on the implementation of the administration policies relating to the services covered by this Team. They will ensure provision of day to day administrative services to support clinical and technical staff and any other duties related to the day to day running of the service. Provide cross cover with the Orthotic Admin Team Lead based at the Local Care Centre.
