We have an exceptional school in Bridgewater looking for SEND support workers to help support their diverse cohort.

No previous experience needed, as long as you share our values and ethos that all young people deserve nothing less than exceptional.

We currently have two positions as a SEND support worker, working 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday on a temp to perm basis. The school would consider a job share if you are looking for part time hours. Experience is desirable but not essential.

**The School**:
The school is a Ofsted rated Good specialist provision with exceptional specialist resources needed to meet the needs of their students. State-of-the-art facilities for all the children and young people, this includes a warm water pool for physiotherapy; a sports hall; a sensory room; and fully accessible classrooms with the latest teaching technology.

**The Class**:

- Primary need ASD
- Up to 10 KS4 pupils
- Learning towards KS2 and functional skills

**As a SEND support worker will need to be**:

- An understanding of how children and young people with additional needs learn.
- Be resilient, flexible, empathetic and creative
- A commitment to doing the very best for all our children.
- Able to use your initiative to find creative ways to support and meet the needs of the students, adapting your approach depending on each individual communication and learning needs.
- Passionate and committed about contributing to the social, emotional and academic development of every child.
- Be eligible to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
