**Job Title: Cleaning Operative**

**Location: Manchester Mental Health, Victoria Park, 70 Daisy Bank Road, Manchester MA43 6AF**

**Hours: 10 per week. Mon-Fri 2 hours daily, flexible between 12.00-17.00**

**Rate of Pay: £9.90 per hour**

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**:
To deliver a high standard cleaning service for our customers, ensuring that areas are hygienic and clean for people to use. To always operate in a safe manner, observing company health and safety policies and guidelines.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Cleaning and Standards**
- Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- To be punctual with your time-keeping; operating a quick and efficient cleaning service without compromising on quality of the service delivered
- Ensure uniforms are worn at all times on site; displaying a professional image of our company
- Follow instructions when given for specific requirements at various facilities
- Report any problems or broken equipment to your supervisor as soon as possible

**Customer Service and Teamwork**
- To display a positive attitude to your work and be a proactive member of the team
- Build and maintain good relationships with colleagues and customers

**Health, Safety and Environment**
- Act responsibly in relation to all matters which may affect the Health and Safety of yourselves and others whilst on Company premises, customers’ premises and travelling between sites, and to adhere to safety regulations at all times
- Observe all safety procedures and instructions and assist in maintaining a safe workplace and reporting any accidents, hazards, near misses, damages or defects to tools and equipment to the appropriate person
- Wear appropriate protective equipment (PPE) and use any safety devices provided by the company at the relevant times
- Only use equipment you’ve been trained to use
