**Multi Trades Recruitment** is currently looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as
** Passenger Assistants (PA) Relief Cover.**

As a PA, you will be responsible for accompanying children and young adults, usually with additional needs (medical/behavioural), who require transport to and from school/college.

The role involves providing cover for PAs which may require you to work during the hours of 07.00-10.00 and 14.00-17.00 Monday to Friday. You may also be contacted during the day to arrange future cover, which may be last minute.

**10 hours per week**

**Responsibilities**:

- Accompany children and young adults with additional needs to and from school/college in a minibus or taxi.
- Provide relief cover for PAs who are unable to work.
- Attend to the needs of students during the journey, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Work with the transport provider to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the service.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents/carers, and schools.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to work variable hours as you will be placed on a relief register to cover PAs as and when required.
- Experience working with children and young adults with additional needs is desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- Must be willing to undergo a one-day "classroom" training on Microsoft Teams before accompanying a PA on a route.
