Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Passenger Assistant to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. in supporting the Local Authority in Plymouth.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for accompanying children and young adults with additional needs to and from school/college, providing transportation support and cover for absent Passenger Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide transportation support to children and young adults with additional needs, ensuring their safe and comfortable journey to and from school/college.
  • Assist with the management of approximately 800 students accessing Home to School transport, utilizing either minibuses or taxis as required.
  • Offer cover for Passenger Assistants who are unable to work, ensuring continuity of service.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work immediately or at short notice.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
