Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and rapidly growing Global Financial Services Group to recruit for a dynamic and experienced Credit Control Team Leader. Based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire the position will support, oversee, and developa small credit team responsible for the collections within their UK client base. Your new role
Key duties will involve supervising and co-ordinating the daily credit control activities for the team, monitoring team workloads, productivity, and quality of work. You will act as the point of call for complex credit queries with resolution, analyse creditdata and prepare credit reporting monthly/quarterly for senior management. You will be involved process/system improvements for the Credit department, authorise initial payment requisitions in accordance with standard procedures, and continually review thecredit services provided to the company's internal and external customers. You will support in ad-hoc credit projects and duties as the company grows further.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this hands-on and fast-paced Credit Team Leader role you will need experience within a similar position, proven and strong supervisory experience to develop and co-ordinate a growing credit team, along with the ability to manage the team'sresources effectively. You will have strong communication skills to build both internal/external relationships, be used to working within a fast-paced transactional environment and meeting time-constraint deadlines. You will have key MS excel skills, accuratedata & management information skills, along with being strong problem solver. Experience within the Financial Services or Insurance sectors would be beneficial but not essential.
