Our Reception team provides a first line of support for clients accessing support and information about their social welfare rights and responsibilities, by providing a first point of contact at our reception area in the Davidson Building. As a key member of our Community Advice Services team, their role is to welcome clients to the community advice service and provide a safe, confidential and friendly introduction to Citizens Advice Gateshead. You will ensure all initial forms are completed correctly, and pass information to the adviser team so the advice service can commence.

This role will be to support our planned weekend opening so the post holder would need to be available to mainly work weekends.

**The role and what you’ll be doing**

The Contact Centre Adviser will be responsible for using their training and experience to provide a highly effective client experience. You will help people find a way forward across a wide range of current issues such as those who are in fuel poverty or are in risk of being in fuel poverty and the cost of living crisis.

You will have proven experience of providing advice and guidance on complex issues with a track record of producing excellent results.
