Our Online business has evolved significantly in recent years and is a key pillar to the future growth of the business. To help us unlock and accelerate that growth, we are organising around and Agile model. This role will play integral part on our joining from doing Agile to Being Agile.
As part of a small team of agile coaches within Tesco Online, you'll be responsible for helping to train our Squads and Value Streams on the Agile methodology and oversee the development of Agile teams to ensure successful adoption of Agile at Tesco and the delivery of our OKRs.

Our Agile Coaches are responsible for a specific area of the organisation, however you will need to support other coaches areas as and when the business requires.

As Tesco Online is in transition to becoming an Agile business unit, your key responsibilities will be to support the Value Stream Leads, Squad Leads and Squad Members to learn, practice and start adopting the Agile principles and practices.

You will be responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process, driven the squads and Value Streams forwards, keeping them true to their OKRs whilst encouraging colleagues to fully embrace the Agile method.

Your ultimate goal is to arm our Agile teams with the right knowledge, tools and training so that they’ll be able to use Agile to its full potential.

**Operational skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is able to invite non-aggressive discipline in following the prescriptive Agile ceremonies
- Is capable of navigating conflicts at the team level using some of the well-known frameworks in the Agile community (NVC, Clean Language, Difficult Conversations, etc)
- Demonstrates knowledge and experience in some of the well-known Agile Frameworks at the Squad & Team Level (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.)
- Understands and can facilitate team's growth in maturity using any of the well-known frameworks in the Agile community (5 Dysfunctions of a team, Integral Theory, Tuckman's Stages, etc.)
- Has any sort of personal development practice embedded in their life (Emotional Intelligence, MIndfulness, Coaching etc)

**Relevant Experience Required**:

- Confident to bring engagement and energy to your development and embrace agile practices, principles and values for the organisation: predominately at squad and value stream level
- Able to facilitate Agile Ceremonies for a large group of people.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of Online business models and economics and have exposure to customer centric thinking
- Preferably you will have 3-5 years experience working with teams (using any kind of Agile practices)
- Understand the clear difference between Value Stream Lead, Squad Lead, Squad Member and COE roles. Having been in any of these roles is an asset
