**About the opportunity**

The Decommissioning Unit delivers a range of high risk/ high value, outcome-based reward projects with innovative commercial arrangements or projects requiring a major/complex programme management skill set.
Operating within the Decommissioning Business Unit, the PPP framework is a portfolio of complex construction projects with a potential value of £7bn to be undertaken across a 20-year timescale in support of the Sellafield decommissioning programme.

For the central PPP Services Team in Birchwood Park we are seeking Operations Support Coordinator.

**Supporting the Project Managers, the Operations Support Coordinator shall be required to**:

- Support specific projects within the programme through assisting the Project Managers priorities, working in co-operation with various functions to meet the requirements of individual projects and the overall programme.
- Maintain long-term relationships with the customer and other stakeholders within specific PPP projects
- Support the delivery of financial targets for the business area (revenue, profit and staff utilisation) through the defence of commercial interests
- Ensure all relevant records are kept as appropriate, monitor and maintain project documentation records and registers in compliance with client and Jacobs’ policies, procedures and expectations

**Here’s what you’ll need**:

- Hold a formal qualification in an Engineering or Construction related discipline or appropriate experience.
- Awareness of the NEC forms of contract.
- Awareness of both pre
- and post-contract phases of projects.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
