We have an opportunity for a Supervisor to join our team at Centra Draperstown, 26-28 High Street, Draperstown, Co Derry, BT45 7AA.**

**This is a permanent position, working 24 hours per week, shifts will include cover for weekends and evenings on a rotational basis.**

**The role of supervisor is to assist in the day to day overall running of a store and maximizing the Centra Brand and Sales, which will involve delivery of the following duties**:

- **Delivery of excellent customer service and maintaining high standards within the store**:

- **Development and driving forward certain categories in store**:

- **Identifying opportunities to increase sales**:

- **Ensuring the store adheres to Health & Safety and Environmental Health Standards.**:

- **Completing sales and costs reports as and when required**:

- **Ensuring orders are accurate and submitted on time**:

- **Preparing staff rota's**:

- **Staff Supervision, including conducting Return to Work Interviews, Staff Investigations and ensuring full compliance to the Company's employment policies.**:

- **Being responsible for the store in the absence of the Store Manager**

**Criteria**:
**Essential**:

- **Recent experience in a busy convenience or supermarket retailing at key colleague in a sales-based environment with some experience of margin**:

- **Excellent attention to detail in store standards**:

- **Excellent communication & interpersonal skills**:

- **Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages**

**Desirable**:

- **Good working knowledge of all fresh food areas and an ability to support in maintaining an exceptionally high standard of operational efficiency throughout the store**:

- **Proven experience in the areas of stock control, people skills, cost control, rota planning, HACCP implementation.**:

- **Further education in related discipline i.e. retail or business**:

- **Experience gained in food retail**:

- **Management or Supervisory qualification**:

- **Fresh food operation i.e. bakery, FTG, Deli, provisions, and coffee**
