Company Accountant for a niche growth property business with hybrid working based in Coleshill.
**Your new company**
Hays are delighted to be working exclusively with a high growth property development and leisure business who are based in Coleshill. The company have high growth and ambitious plans and are looking for a Company Accountant.
**Your new role**
- Implementation of Access Financials accounting system
- Sales & Purchase Ledger, P&L and Balance sheet.
- Manage month end closing routines and updates for all ledgers
- Prepare monthly/annual internal and external reporting to include P&L Statements, Balance Sheets
- Project Accounting for development sites
- Payroll including HMRC reporting
- Creation of the monthly management accounts including full variance analysis
- Working with the FD suggesting areas for improvement and ensuring strict cost control
- Full preparation of budgets (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash))
- Preparation and submission of statutory reporting
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Creating monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- System administrator responsibilities
- Liaising with auditors, taking ownership of the annual audit
- Identifying areas of weakness, ensuring continuous improvement within the finance function
