This is an outstanding opportunity offered within 11 Sqn, and is varied, rewarding and exciting Do you have the passion to deliver Motor Transport (MT) support within 11Sqn? Are you a pro-active, hard-working individual? One who is motivated to play an engaging, interesting and critical part in our support to Navy Command’s role to generate and operate forces for today and to ensure we are ready for tomorrow by developing and delivering the Navy of the future.

The role will also include operating as part of a crew of a specialist recovery vehicle supporting amphibious beach exercises.
Much of 11 Squadron's work is experimental in nature, therefore there will be opportunities to participate in innovative trials and development activity.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:

- To provide MT Driver support to all 11 Sqn departments, ATDw and visiting courses.
- To access Clarity and JAMES software (or similar) platforms for the issue and closure of work tickets
- To conduct Level 1 servicing and Equipment Care (EC) tasks on the Vehicle fleet

**Other Responsibilities**
- To deputise for MT Chargehand in times of absence.
- To conduct periodic checks of Lifting equipment as part of the team of qualified Lifting Equipment Assessor (LEA) for MT Lifting & Recovery Equipment
- To receipt, issue, and account for POL stocks on the Unit.

**Person specification**:
Timing of 11 Squadron's activities is constrained by tidal conditions which means that there will be requirements to work outside normal hours for which a premium will be paid in line with MOD policy.

Depending upon experience and qualifications, travel including overnight stays will be required in order to complete training vital to fulfil the role.
