Icaew QAd Reviewer

Butler Rose have been retained by the ICAEW to recruit for a Reviewer in their South East region and the core part of the role involves visiting ICAEW member firms within a catchment area within the South East. These are scheduled in advance by a supportteam, so that Reviewers can spend most of their time partnering with firms, carrying out audit and other regulatory visits.

ICAEW Reviewers have a fantastic work / life balance split. The role is home based & will suit an individual who is operating at Senior Manager / Director level within an Accountancy Firm that wants to move away from UK wide travel/responsibilities intoa more compact local area closer to their home.

This role will pull upon your ability to consult at a strategic level - using your people skills and considerable technical knowledge; Reviewers will visit accountancy firms of all sizes within a certain catchment area to review their procedures, processesand controls to make sure they comply with relevant regulations and standards. Reviewers provide constructive professional advice to help firms identify practical solutions to any findings they raise. Reviewers also act as ambassadors for the institute, providingassurance advice, managing concerns and explaining services on offer by the institute. For Reviewers wanting to broaden their horizons, they can be involved in developing quality assurance programmes for other international bodies.

Salary on offer is £75,000 with a £6,000 car allowance bringing the basic package to £81,000. Remuneration package will also include Pension Scheme 9%, Private Medical (whole family cover) & more.
