We are looking for a system administrator for our Emergency Department (ED) to work alongside our clinical digital leads using your own initiative and be responsible for the effective maintenance and management of ED Clinical computer Systems.

Do you have knowledge of NHS computer systems?

Have you got a background working in a busy department?

Do you enjoy training and helping staff

Are you happy to challenge staff if they are not following the correct procedure

Do you enjoy teaching both one to one and in small groups?

Have you done audit work and gathering data?

The job is varied and fast paced and will involve accuracy and meeting targets

This role will be based on site at QMC campus for operational purposes for all of role

You will be responsible for ensuring the business continuity for planned and unplanned downtime of ED IT systems is maintained and followed

You will be involved in setting up the access and training all new members of staff across our Emergency Department to ensure they have the necessary tools to do their role for patients attending our department and throughout their ED journey

You will be expected to ensure accurate information is being recorded within clinical systems and challenge staff when repeated errors occur.
