Out of School Club Practitioner required

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Hours: 3pm to 6 pm each day -12 hours per week

**The successful applicant must be over 25 years of age (due to our motor insurance conditions)**

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic out of school club practitioner to work at The Lodge Out of School Club based in Cleckheaton.

We can cater for up to 30 children each day and pick up /drop off at 2 Cleckheaton schools. We also run a holiday club that is open to children from any school.

Duties will include:

- Dropping off and picking up children aged from 5 years to 11 years of age from 2 local schools
- Driving our mini buses to and from local schools.
- Taking part in the delivery of fun, creative play opportunities. Being energetic and joining in the games and activities that children of this age love
- Being creative to help plan new and exciting activities, games and opportunities for children
- Keeping children safe and minimising risks in the play environment
- Helping ensure the safe arrival of children at the club and safe delivery to parents and carers at the end of the session.
- Providing snacks and refreshments to the children
- Being responsible for tidying rooms and taking care of club equipment
- Working within agreed policies and procedures, and in particular, being aware of staff responsibilities around the safeguarding of children in our care, experience in a similar role is an advantage although full training will be given.
- First aid qualifications are also an advantage but training is available

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.60 per hour
