Cafe 1001 is a hi-fi audio bar on Brick Lane, acting as a cafe by day serving up brunch and hot drinks, becoming a cocktail bar in the evenings, with an on-site pizza restaurant, and DJs every Thursday-Saturday. We are looking for a confident and fun front of house team member to join our team

This is a part time position. We do also have openings for baristas and bartenders, so if you want more hours then we would be able to accommodate.

**Salary**: £12 an hour + service charge

Address: 91 Brick Lane E1 6QL

Working days: Thursday - Sunday (flexibility on days & hours worked)

**Responsibilities**
- Welcoming all guests on arrival, representing our brand, and being bubbly, positive and confident in welcoming guests to the venue
- Check guests in via a company provided tablet
- Arrange all reservations and set up the venue daily in line with the number of bookings we have
- Arrange any pre-orders, from setting up to serving (this could be bottles, cocktails, or catering)
- Work with the events team to manage any larger or more corporate bookings
- Assist all guests throughout their bookings and ensure they are well looked after
- Process payments and close tables
- Provide feedback from customers at the end of each shift
- Upsell throughout the night; have an intimate understanding of our menus, specials on offer, and be able to make personalised recommendations
- Form relationships with our guests, push for reviews and feedback after the booking, and use your personality and service to ensure repeat custom

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hosting / waiting tables / floor management in a hospitality setting, ideally a restaurant or cocktail bar
- Experience with OpenTable is preferable, or a similar platform (Design My Night, Resy)
- Must be proficient in English
