**Job Role**: Cleaning Zone Leader

**Reporting to**: Cleaning Team Leader

**Location**: Broughton, Chester

**Hours: 7am-7pm (12H) - 4 on, 4 off**

**Salary + Shift Allowance**

**Job Purpose**:
Cleaning zone leader, responsible for the day-to-day supervision of cleaning staff and to ensure the consistent high delivery of cleaning services to meet the client’s specification and contract standards. This includes all elements of cleaning provided on site, such as industrial cleaning, jig cleaning and office cleans.

**Key Tasks**:

- To ensure the agreed level of service always meets the required standards in line with contract standards as defined in the relevant Workbooks, completing process confirmations as per the agreed plan or on demand as necessary.
- To ensure work is carried out in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and CBRE Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the prompt reporting to the Help Desk or Team Leader of any building, engineering or equipment defect that could give rise to safety hazards, completing hazard notification documentation.
- Attend Occupational Health for health surveillance/vaccination following accidents and for monitoring as described in CBRE policies.
- Whilst on shift, to respond to Help Desk service requests in a customer focussed manner, working with colleagues on site to provide resolutions within Service Level Agreements.
- To provide assessment and training of cleaning employees and monitoring of cleaning standards to ensure that all staff are adequately trained to enable them to carry out tasks effectively and safely.
- To ensure that cleaning consumables are available where and when required.
- Ensure that site-based equipment is in good working order and/or arrange for repairs/replacements as appropriate.
- Ensure that a customer focus within all areas of operational activities and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.
- Responsible for the supervision of staff, to ensure that activities comply with legislation and CBRE policies and procedures, to include managing sickness absence, completing return to work interviews and dealing with welfare and disciplinary matters.
- Undertake appraisal meetings with staff.
- Communicate with teams to deliver corporate messages.
- To promptly report and investigate incidents and accidents.
- Co-operate with training requirements relevant to the role.
- Process payroll information as and when required.
- Promote a professional and positive image.

- Ordering consumable items and arranging machine repairs

**Salary**: £25,335.60 per year
