Furniture Assembler

Due to a sustained period of growth, Borne Interiors have an exciting opportunity for experienced FURNITURE ASSEMBLER to join their hard-working team at their offices & warehouse in STOURBRIDGE, Dudley.

**Role Overview**:
This role is to ensure Borne Interiors is delivering a high standard of service to aid the satisfaction of our clients. This job role entails for a skilful and experienced assembler to be able to adapt to working in a warehouse and on a working site to assemble, layout and fit furniture to the clients level of satisfaction. You will need to have previous experience working as a furniture installation/assembler, general warehouse responsibility and being a highly motivated, forward thinking member of the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Furniture assembly, including tables and chairs, with basic power tools.
- Following assembly guides, instruction manuals to complete the tasks to the best of your ability.
- Ensuring furniture is quality checked and in line with company standards.
- Wrapping and un-wrapping furniture for a safe journey.
- General warehouse work.
- Loading and off-loading vans and deliveries.
- Role requires you to be in different locations across the UK to complete the delivery and installation of the project.
- Reading and following a floorplan to layout and fit furniture in the correct locations.
- Ability to fix items into the floor and install banquette seating.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Skilful and expert in furniture assembly and using hand and air power tools.
- Hours will be flexible; some early starts are required within the week.
- Enthusiastic team-member who wants to join a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of furniture required.
- Visited and worked on a working site before is not essential but preferred.
- Clean driving licence preferred, but not essential.

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
