Joinery Draughtsperson

Due to a sustained period of growth, Borne Joinery have an exciting opportunity for experienced JOINERY DRAUGHTSPERSON to join their hard-working team at their offices & warehouse in STOURBRIDGE, Dudley

**Role Overview**:
This role is to ensure Borne Joinery is delivering a high standard of service to aid the satisfaction of our clients. This job role entails for a skilful and experienced Joinery Draughtsperson to join our expanding shop fitting and joinery manufacturing business. Whilst working closely with our designers you will be responsible for taking client approved concept drawings & producing detailed production drawings for the workshop.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Knowledge of Solidworks is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the furniture/joinery industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of furniture and joinery construction methods.
- You will be the main liaison between the Project Management Team and the Joinery Team and will need to be highly organised.
- Produce manufacturing drawings, assembly sheets and cut lists.
- Translate concept drawings or visuals into shop drawings for manufacture and concept sign-off, principally using Cabinet Vision or AutoCAD.
- Produce drawings to the appropriate level of detail (including specialist materials) for manufacture.
- Ensure deadlines are met and designs are produced efficiently.
- Joinery and furniture manufacture design role
- Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
- A thorough approach and attention to detail
- Understanding of workshop equipment, tooling, and machine
- Positive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Passionate about design
- Ability to keep and maintain good quality records and follow procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
