We have a wide range of clients and the main duties of this role include (but are not limited to):

- Maintain payroll records
- Ensure processes and procedures follow current regulations
- Respond and resolve queries from clients relating to payroll
- Calculate wages and deductions
- Regular usage of payroll systems, including data compilation and input
- Liaison with HMRC and The Pensions Regulator
- Calculate pension, tax and NI commitments
- Set up and process new employees and administer accurate records for new starters and leavers
- Check hours and calculate overtime and holiday pay
- Process relevant paperwork
- Involvement with special situations such as maternity pay and bespoke pension schemes
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Respect confidential information
- Be happy working in a small team
- Have good time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines

Salary is dependent on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, a competitive holiday package (including an extra day of holiday for your birthday), flexible and hybrid working, workplace parking and quarterly team building days. We also operate a ‘dress for your day’ policy.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
