Materials Planner

Bottled and Canned Ltd is a new business experiencing rapid growth and in need of a Materials Planner to support our Supply Chain Manager.

We are looking for a highly motivated, organised individual to work with our Supply Chain Manager supporting the planning and scheduling of production.

**Key role responsibilities;**
- Managing inbound materials in line with production requirements and customer specifications
- Reviewing of the weekly, monthly production plan to ensure materials are available to meet the schedule
- Reviewing stock holding at our warehouses and working alongside the warehouse team
- Generating monthly reports of slow moving and/or outdated materials
- Investigating any material discrepancies
- Purchasing and managing on site stock to agreed levels
- Creating of BOM’s

**What we are looking for;**

As our Materials Planner your main role will be to ensure the optimisation of the raw material flow ensuring on time delivery and full availability of materials to meet production demands.

**Key skills and experience;**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel to a high standard
- Articulate and able to communicate effectively
- A methodical approach with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and with a positive attitude

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
