Material Planner

Bottled and Canned Ltd is an established business experiencing rapid growth and in need of a Materials Planner.

We are looking for a highly motivated, organised individual to work with our Supply Chain Manager.

As our Materials Planner you will have overall responsibility for creating forecasts, schedules and managing stocks of packaging, some ingredients, printer fluids, CIP chemicals.

**Key role responsibilities;**
- Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production
- Coordinating with our production schedulerregarding production goals and timelines
- Coordinate with other departments
- Tracking production volume, monitoring customer demand patterns, and purchasing trends
- Tracking items with shelf life and prompt good rotation
- Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Setting up a monthly cycle process with customers to clarify our process requirements/lead times
- Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations
- Keep track of used plastic pallet/Arlington’s and prompt warehouse to prepare to return
- Set up cycle counting process

- Excellent organisational skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- In-House system knowledge
- Attention to detail/accuracy
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Happy to be reactive to change in plans

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
