A fantastic primary school in East Birmingham is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils across all year groups on the SEND register.

** Long-term role, working full-time
** SEN Teaching Assistant position, starting immediately
** £400 - £450 per week
The SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be working with multiple pupils across the school with a range of additional needs. You will assist these pupils with their learning on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and in the classroom. As an SEN TeachingAssistant, you will also need to manage behaviour effectively and ensure the wellbeing of the pupils is being supported. You will work with them following the national curriculum, and using phonics and numeracy schemes.
The SEN Teaching Assistant:
For this SEN Teaching Assistant position, it is important that you hold a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant qualification. You must have experience working with pupils with a range of complex needs, particularly Autism, ADHD, complex learning needs, communicationdifficulties and more. You should have a kind, patient personality and want to help pupils overcome barriers to education. You must have worked as an SEN Teaching Assistant previously, and be able to manage challenging behaviour with a person-centric approach.
