Are you a TA looking to start a new role as soon as possible? Or maybe you have experience of working with children or young people with special needs etc? Or maybe you have personal experience of SEN children through family members or friends and would like to know more about becoming a teaching assistant ?

Equally, you maybe a Psychology Graduate looking to begin your career in education.

We at The Teach Team have several SEN support roles throughout Birmingham and Coventry. We are open to considering people from different types of backgrounds that all have the desire to support and work with children with SEN. Working with SEN children across Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire can be very rewarding, which requires a strong passion for dealing with a variety of different Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working alongside the class teacher to support the classroom
- Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to participate in activites
- Supporting Individual children on a one to one basis
- Liaising with teaching staff and possibly parents keeping records fully up to date
- Build and maintaining strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Willing to support pupils with personal care if required

**Requirements**:

- Enhanced valid DBS
- Safeguarding trained (we can support with this)
- SEN experience / knowledge

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: As soon as possible
Days /Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 3.30 pm
Contract: Day to Day and Long Term jobs available
Pay: £76-95 per day dependent upon experience
