Due to our ongoing success and we now have a vacancy for a Night Senior

**Abbeyfield House **is a 40 bedded home organised over two floors. This home accommodates for both, residential and dementia care need service users. We are a not-for-profit organisation, therefore the interests of our staff and residents sits at the heart of what we do.

Being a senior member of our care team means you will be supervising your team of care staff to ensure they are delivering high quality care and support to the residents. You will need to monitor, support and coach carers to enable them to develop and reach their full potential as a carer. Also, as the senior carer on shift you will be responsible for regular monitoring of the health and personal care needs of the residents, creating, reviewing and implementing resident care plans, and administering medication.

You will also need to be able to work calmly and efficiently when staff and/or residents need help, i.e., in the event of an emergency.

Enthusiasm, reliability, a good sense of humour and being able to work as part of a team are essential to this role, you will also need to have level 2 NVQ and be working towards level 3.

The current rate of pay is £11.30 per hour. We offer a 5% pay enhancement for night shift workers, weekend enhancement £1 per hour above basic pay, overtime enhancements of time and an hour quarter for hours worked above 37.5 on weekdays and above 40 hours worked on nights. We also offer time and a half at weekends, for time worked over 40 hours we also offer an overtime bonus of an extra days pays (terms & condition apply) to any member of staff who works 3 or move full overtime shifts.
