Blackberries Childcare Group are looking for a Level 3 and above Qualified Nursery Room Leader
**Salary**:Minimum £9.75 - Maximum £11.50 per hour
**Hours**:Minimum 35 hours per week
**Business Hours**:Monday to Friday - 07:30-18:00
**Company Closures**: Statutory Bank Holidays + one week per calendar year.

**Your role within Blackberry House Day Nursery**:
- **Keyworker duties**_
- Provide comfort and warmth to all children
- To be responsible for providing high-quality teaching, ensuring that staff are properly deployed and offer appropriate support to children.
- Ensure appropriate planning and assessment are accurately maintained for key children.
- Keep an accurate record of the achievement file on your key children.
- Develop good relationships with key families through parents as partners
- Safeguarding children is your priority.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery.
- Attend monthly staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required.
- To welcome, support and work in partnership with the parents and carers of the children.
- **Working as a Team**_
- Become a pro-active team member, offering appropriate support to your colleagues.
- Work with the Manager and your team to ensure that the Nursery’s philosophy is reflected.
- Be a key player to ensure the nursery receives excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities.
- **Quality and Standards**_
- Respect the confidentiality of information received.
- Help to make sure that the environment meets the needs of Nursery children, reflecting their cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development.
- Adhere and follow all Policies and Procedures.
